Reflection on Diary No. 913-915 (Divine Mercy)
Reflection on Diary No. 913-915 (Divine Mercy) Daily Mass for seminarians, for priests and some other devoted Christians can take us into a temptation of taking Mass as a routine, so lightly! Here at seminary, it is a school rule for everyone to attend Mass daily, even back at the parish, it is almost the same, for some of us. We need to reflect about the Holy Mass and ask for God’s grace to always actively take part in Mass and to worthly receive Him in the Holy Communion just as the CCC No. 1415 and the following teach us. We have heard how St. Maria Faustina saw the crucified Jesus, nailed to the cross and in great agony #No.913. Note that this is away from her routine as she testifies and I quote “I thought I would see the little Jesus, as I often do” Dear brothers (and sisters), we all may not become Mystics or at least we may not get the grace but we are called to stay firm in faith and prayer as St. Paul teaches in 1 Corinthians 16:13 and in 1Timothy 2: 8 Do you believe?...
